Lot 6: Elvis Presley’s Personally Owned Private 1962 Lockheed Jetstar Jet W/Copies of Papers BEING SOLD WITHOUT RESERVE (AS SEEN ON TV) – This jet was personally owned by Elvis Presley, and is the “Lost” jet he owned with his father, Vernon Presley. The jet has been featured on TV with National Geographic, and has been a huge tourist attraction at the airport in Roswell, NM. According to our seller, portions of the plane’s interior were custom designed to Elvis’ specifications, including the gold-tone hardware, woodwork, inlay, red velvet seats and red carpet. Our seller also states that the jet has not been restored since Elvis last owned it, and is in the same condition he left it in. The winning bidder will receive a signed and notarized affidavit from our seller, in their own words. Also, we have Certified Copies of FAA records to sell with Elvis Jet! We have arranged to have “blue ribbon” certified copies of critical documentation of Elvis Presley’s ownership of the Lockheed 1329, available for delivery with the airplane. You can bid with complete confidence that you’ll have an asset that can serve as the centerpiece of a major attraction. The jet has been privately owned for over 35 years, and is the only airplane once belonging to Elvis that is still owned privately. The only other two in existence are owned by The Elvis Presley Museum. This jet has the potential of being restored, and placed on exhibit for the world to come see. It could potentially earn its new owner millions of dollars in exhibit, or entry fees as an attraction. This jet was very important to Elvis as he owned it with his beloved father, Vernon Presley. The jet that will be up for auction is one of only 204 aircraft manufactured between 1957 and 1978 in a private project between Jetstar and Lockheed. Please note: The plane has no engines, and the cockpit has not been restored. The plane would have to be disassembled in order to be shipped, and our auction firm will play an assistive role in facilitating shipping at the winning bidder’s expense.
